Plagueis: Ascendant II Results

header

Well, the long slog of Restoration is finally over with the conclusion of Restoration: Ascendant on Sunday. Before you scroll down for results, feel free to check out the concluding fiction which can be found here. The top three finishers overall in Ascendant round make a few cameos, so give it a read!

Event Results

So, I’m sure you’re wondering how everything shook out, so here’s the final results:

overall

A big congrats to both Houses on their scores, but as this was a competition and one side had to win the overall victory goes to House Ajunta Pall by a score of 1200 points to 799 points. As far as individual placements, Dracaryis took the lead and almost ran away with it while amassing 212 points. But, it should be noted that two newcomers to Plagueis, Mayda Ferium and Athrun Zala, were able to bring home second and third place overall for their new home House Karness Muur. Rounding out the top five were Ra’gnar and Furios Morega from Ajunta Pall.

participation

Now while Ajunta Pall took the prize on points, participation really belonged to House Karness Muur. Both houses saw 13 competitors come out between both rounds of the competition, but those 13 people were good for a 65% active score for Karness Muur compared to 54% for Ajunta Pall. Karness Muur really got their people involved in this one, and the results total entry wise were also very close with Karness Muur only trailing Ajunta Pall by 8 total entries over the 166 total entries submitted. So, great activity for both Houses, but Karness Muur takes the cake here.

events

While this round ended up having a few less entries than round one, we still saw more than in the previous phases of Restoration. There were some really excellent entries this time around, especially some funny ones in the media event. We also want to single out the recently returned Eiko for his fiction entry this round, having been ranked 1st by all three judges for his entry, something that no other participant in any of the fiction or graphics events had done for the entire length of Restoration. It’s good to see people that have just returned back from the Rogues engaging and contributing at such a high level, so if you all see Eiko on IRC or Telegram give him a hearty congrats!

Full top ten placements for both rounds of Ascendant can be found here.

Conclusions

The entire summit, from the Consul on down, are really proud of how the Clan as a whole did for this competition. Including entries in the parent competition, Plagueis generated 191 competition entries from Ascendant: Restoration alone. That’s almost as many as the entire clan generated in all competitions run from mid-February to the end of May. Just a hair over 60% of all eligible competitors (minus the clan summit and quaestors) submitted entries for the competition, a percentage that is far higher than most other units have generated in recent Clan Feuds. Which is a bit of transitional material that leads into where we’re going next. If you have read through the final fiction update (which you should!), you might see some people making an appearance that could signal some clan feud-ness coming your way in the future. The summit doesn’t want to say too much now, but stay tuned for further updates!

Congrats Dra! Best fiction I have read in a while.

Way to go everyone...both houses...awesome performance!

Indeed, it was really cool to see so much activity across both houses! Reading everything that came in was a real treat.

Good job

Congratulations to everyone! It's been so great seeing so much participation from everyone for this entire competition, especially for this last phase!

Congrats HAP, glad to see HKM dominating the podium placements even if they are the lower steps, this shows a wonderful amount of competition between the two houses and I'm eager to see this continue hopefully into this event with another clan and really hoping the upcoming GJW too. Go Plagueis!!

Well down, Plagueis!

Errr "Well done" as they say in recognized territories......
