Why, Helllooo out there! Kind of slipped up last month and didn’t get a report sent out. Did you miss me? Well, here I am again! There is a WAR coming, are you ready? Well this will be my last report until after the war has concluded. So, I hope you enjoy it and find some exciting news!

Apex Legends, a free to play strategic battle royale. Season 2 came live earlier this month. The Leviathans have breached Kings Canyon, changing the map! New weapons, changes to the Ring on how much damage it does and times it shrinks. Also new legend is available! Natalie “Wattson” Paquette, a lead electrical engineer. Wattson can make electrical fences for her tactical ability, passive that boosts your tactical ability while standing near her pylon which is the ultimate that repairs shields.

Calling all competitive gamers! A new Ranked League Mode as been released as well. There are six tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold , Platinum, Diamond and Apex Predator. Within those tiers are four divisions. These will be in “Series” and will most likely won’t be in sync with the larger seasons. More announcement about that will come after this season ends in September. Rank up to receive in game rewards at the end of the series. To play the Ranked league mode you will have to be lvl 10. Note you can group up with friends but be aware the system will find a match for the highest ranked player within the group. Who thinks they can become a PREDATOR?!

Coming from Nintendo this fall is a new “switch” system. It is the Nintendo Switch: Lite. Compared to the switch this will be completely just a handheld unit. So, basically a new gameboy. The unit will be more sleek and lightweight to easily travel anywhere for when you want to game and the controllers are built on the unit. So, no having to worry about those joy cons. It will come out in three colors to choose from: yellow, gray and turquoise. The price will be $100 less than the Switch. Pre-orders will be coming soon!

Today (July 15th) Amazon started it’s Prime Days sale. During this 48 hr period certain items will be available at a discounted rate for Prime members only. For in the Humble Bundle store they have South Park, The Fractured but Whole on sale for $5.99. For those that like Borderlands the Handsome collection is on sale for $5.99 as well. Few others that you maybe interested in are Tomb Raider, Just Cause and Darksiders for as low as two bucks! Check them out to see other sales.

For Overwatch news. Back in June there was a small event called Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge where we learned more of his past and earned special sprays and skins for in game use. Also Replays became live! You can access recent played matches and view them from any vantage point. Can view it third person, first person or bird’s eye view. The replay can also be sped up or slowed down! How neat is that! For more information on short cut keys etc make sure you check out their Introduction to Replays, looks very helpful if your the type that wants to learn to do things better. Playing against a really good player on a certain character and want to maybe learn some of their tricks? Go to the replay and you can view from the enemy’s perspective.

Gamers join the ranks of the GMRG! How do you join you ask? Read over the GMRG-History course and pass the exam within the Shadow Academy.

Why should I join? You may ask. Get an opportunity to gain exclusive items, compete on the leaderboard to choose a Dark Council member to protect! (Get their accessory!)
