PlagCast Episode VIII: (Not) The Last Podcast

header

Plagueians and other DBers! I am so happy to present you with our eighth PlagCast, with not one, but two guests! Many thanks to Alaris Jinn and Raiju Kang for joining us, answering our questions, reviewing some wine, and hyping up the Plagueis-Taldryan-CSP Pro Bowl.

I do want to personally apologize for the quality of my microphone in this episode and the previous one. Believe it or not, I use a supposedly high-quality Blue Yeti microphone, and it appears to be having issues and making me sound tinny and distant. I may shift back to my headset and see what happens during the next episode, but if anyone has any tips on how to make my pesky technology sound as good as it did back in the beginning, please let me know!

Below, as per usual, you will find the timestamps and production information for the episode. Once again, though it may be PlagCast, the podcast is meant for everyone in the Brotherhood. Enjoy!

Once again, a serious shout out to TuQ for editing this behemoth of a podcast. This is our longest podcast to date, thanks in part to having double the guests and debuting a new episode segment. Everyone please send TuQ butter tarts and wine as a thank you gift to his igloo in Canada, eh? ;)

Editor's Note:

Due to time restraints and lots of rambling, we had to remove two questions (and our long winded answers) from the final podcast, but we do have answers to both.

Tra’an Reith asked: What's your character's theme song? The PlagCast as a whole? Plagueis?

(We only answered the first part of this)

  • Arden - Gin and Juice
  • Ronnie - Indestructible - Disturbed
  • TuQ - C.R.E.A.M - Wu-Tang or I Am The Greatest - Logic
  • Alaris - Master Of Puppets - Metallica
  • Raiju - Fox On The Run - Sweet
  • Julius - the theme to Lock Up on NBC

Aylin Sajark asked: Cookies, cupcakes or pies? And which one is the best of your chosen kind? IC and OC. (We only answered out of character and it led to some debate)

  • Raiju - Banana Cream Pie (and he will fight ANYONE who says otherwise)
  • Ronnie - chocolate satin/silk pie
  • Alaris - Blueberry pie (his moms)
  • Arden - Chocolate (cup)cake
  • TuQ - pecan pie (but would prefer butter tarts [which are basically a bite sized pie with pecan pie filling])
  • Julius - chocolate/peanut butter Girl Scout cookies

Enjoy, folks!

Adapt. Ascend. Avail.

A ton of fun to record! It was a bit of a beast to edit with our recording time clicking in at just short of 3 hours!

Also being Episode 8, there are porgs. Well, not excessive porgs, but still porg.

FIRST! Also it was interesting to hear voices from outside of Plagueis and questions from outside Plagueis. I know the big thing is despite it being called the Plagcast, it's not just for Plagueis and this was an interesting experiment.
