<> State of the Order> So, here goes. There's projects I'm working on, most of you should know about most, or all of them. Of course, there's the revamped Sith CORE, and additional Sith tests that I'm going to be looking into. I've mentioned toying with the Sith ranks, and the outward "appearance" of the Order (fictionally). I've also mentioned before that I want to improve upon the games we play, and see Allegiance jump up again, as well as Battlefront, whenever possible. To that effect, I am going to be holding a Tournament for Allegiance, and eventually Battlefront, in which the Clans can earn ships (anywhere between a Vibre-class Assault Shuttle, to a Nebulon-B, depending on participation). I've also mentioned that I'm currently working on a Sith War, which will potentially use Allegiance and Battlefront heavily.

I'm also working on the Sith History, which was mostly waiting on the results for the "Sith Lords Reborn" comp, which are already out. Congrats again to Goat, Welshman, and Nekura for their placings, 1st through 3rd, respectively. I'm working on a Clan and Order Powers primer, which will answer a lot of the questions that people have in regards to those projects (since they're official), as well as the initial Sith Order school. As far as my staff, Rekio is working on initiating "Tours" within the DB, which will revolve around the flight games, and accomplishing certain goals, in addition to filling in gaps with fiction. Those familiar with the RS will recognize this, most likely. It's taken from the idea of their "Tours of Duty," and we haope it'll be something popular here. Donitz continues work on the wargame, though yes, he has been extremely busy as of late, which has delayed that a bit. I've asked him to come up with a primer for the wargame, to give out to each Clans' Summits, so they'll be familiar with it, and be prepared to lead each Clans' efforts in the wargame portion of the Sith War.

As far as the release date on the Sith War, it won't be any sooner than mid-summer, though it might be later than that. The reason? The IGs are coming up in April, and at the very least, if they last until May, I'd like to make sure everyone has breathing room, as well as time to make sure Clans still get to do their own things in-between any major DB-wide competition. I'd also like to see Clan Feuds come back in style, which can take just as much time as any major DB comp. So basically, I want you to have time to do your own stuff, in addition to making sure I have the time I need to really make the War a class act. With what I have planned, I want that extra time to make sure it all goes smooth. And just another hint to the War, there's going to be rewards for everyone, but also chances to gain even more, if you take risks, and gamble on your luck. Stay tuned for more info.

<> The Sith Order recognizes...> So recently, several members of the Sith Order were recognized for their achievements, in the way of Malik receiving an Emerald Dagger, and Khan and Tron being given the rank of Dark Side Adept. Also by way of promotions, Godo Nurok was raised to Sith Warrior, Schisca to Jedi Hunter, and Kraval Novir and Macron Goura to Guardian. Congratulations to all of them.

<> Sith Site/Battle Compendium> Sort of in Limbo, but Rekio has begun work trying to modify and utlize a site for the Order, and for the Compendium, which was originally created by Mav, when Goat was SHW. Hopefully, we'll be able to get that up and running for everyones' benefit.

<> Sith in Fiction> So, they Sith Lords Reborn competition is over, and I will soon be adding in the winners entries, as well as a few others. However, I've got a new fiction comp for everyone to sink their teeth into. The title of the competition is "The Greatest Warrior of All Times..." You can read the full details of the competition here. As you'll read, this is meant to be a fun, farce comp. Each month, I will pick a "warrior," who will be the subject of that month's writing. Each "warrior" will judge the entries about themselves, and award First-level Crescents to the top three submissions; a Dark Cross will be awarded to the "warriors" for being good sports. All submissions are to be sent to me, [Log in to view e-mail addresses], and I'll zip them up, and send them to the "warriors" so they can judge them. Submissions are due by the end of each month, with each new "warrior" chosen on the 1st of every month. Make sure to have fun, and get involved.

<> Competitions> Tuesdays and Thursdays are the MP nights in #gmrg, with Tuesday preferred as the 1 vs. 1 night, and Thursday being preferred as Team Nights. Don't be afraid to try something new, and get with a group of people to play team games on Thursdays. Also, don't be afraid of guns matches. No Force saber dueling isn't fun for everyone, so try to expand yourself, and give variety a chance. There's so many more game modes on JO and JA than just pressing k to duel. Saturdays are the ICTE in #outerrim, and every other Sunday is the bi-weekly Tournament; there's on tomorrow! If you've qualified, be in #gmrg tomorrow, all day, and play for points. If you haven't qualified, get to the ICTE! It's your last chance to qualify for this Tournament.

<> Miscellaneous> I would like to say, I'm sorry I've been sort of absent lately, but I did enjoy the Leave of Absence I took. I know it did me good to relax a bit, and concentrate on school and a few other things. I am ready to get back into the thick of things, so I hope you all are, too. I'd like to see a lot more effort out of people when it comes to certain things, especially since we're a group of people who sit around and play games, and exude creativity for fun. What more do we really need, except to encourage ourselves a bit more? We need more activity, more inclusion, and let's make sure we're active about getting new people involved, too. Make sure people know what's going on, and that they feel like they can be involved.

Also, I think I've mentioned it before, but if anyone wants to help me out with a little writing on the side, get in touch with me. I'm going to be looking for people to help redo the Sith tests in the Shadow Academy, as well as come up with new tests. Anyone who wants to help out with the Live Combat Academy, get in touch with me. What that is, is the Shadow Academy wants to be changed a bit. Spears and I have talked about it, along with others, and with the fact that we are a gaming club, we need to be training our people, instead of just overflowing them with tests that go nowhere. New recruits will be tested on their abilities, rather than how much they can copy and paste. If you want to help be a part of this project, and get rewards for it, get a hold of me via email.

<> Conclusion> Lots, and lots, and lots. Go play! Be ready for changes! Be ready for the Sith War! And lots, and lots, and lots more. The one thing I've enjoyed most about being SHW now, I think, is the dynamic happenings lately. The Sith are changing, and have been changing for some time. We are adapting to the new age of the Brotherhood, and we are the ones who will be leading the way in things. Also, as a final note, with regards to my Royal Guard cell. I'm going to be having a competition to decide who to invite. The tentative date is going to be next Thursday, during the gaming night. Participants are required to have JO and JA, Battlefront is encouraged, and be prepared to write. You don't have to know how to write exquisitely, since I plan on making it my task to help teach you, but be prepared to work.

Have a great week, and be ready for the Tournament tomorrow!
