Chris Winchester or Nero is one of the many members I’ve known for years prior to being in a position to award him... Even I don’t know how many years it’s been. Let’s assume five. I like that number. Anyway, Nero is one of the few members of the club that can trade snarky comments with me and not be offended. Even then, he’s a helpful presence in various Telegram groups and is currently making me new report graphics without being asked to do so. More recently, he recruited and has taken on a rising star by the name of Wolfe Whitehorn as a student; Nero was subsequently awarded a Scroll of Indoctrination for this, visibly giving Wolfe advice on what to do to get the next ranks in the COU Clan group on Telegram. He’s also one of the valuable members that will willingly volunteer his services for whatever he is needed for, between my own report graphics and a possible logo for the new Battleteam Wildcards.

Since his last merit in January, Nero has participated in twenty-one competitions, placing Third in The Scimitar of Lord Hoth - March 2017. In that time, he has netted a Crescent with a Topaz Star, a Pendant of Blood, Ninety-Nine Clusters of Fire, Forty Clusters of Earth, Three Clusters of Graphite and the previously mentioned Scroll of Indoctrination.
