If anyone has ideas that they wish to see used, always shot me a email. October is Vendetta, so I will not be running events during this time. SA Comp foot note http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5904
Remember when writing a course, use your own words. Don't go copy/pasting from Wookieepedia. Also, make sure your course is thought out, has a beginning, middle, and end. I'm seeing a lot of courses that are too short, with not enough information on it to justify it having it's own course. A hint, take a look at some of our courses to see what I'm looking for. A great example is one Muz wrote, the Advanced Lightsaber Studies. Good luck, and keep this in mind!

Taldryan Quaestor Report http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5902

Welcome to the first ever, Quaestor of Taldryan Report!

It is sad not to be able to call myself Consul of Clan Taldryan, but times like this call for new measures and those measures have been met by the Dark Council and the respective leaders of the (now) Seven Houses. I for one am eager to use the potential that Housing up has given to the DB, and I hope you all will reap the benefits as are planned.

Before I continue though, I would like to thank Muz and Sarin for entrusting me with such a prestigious Position, and for Vodo who has taught me everything I know.

Now, at last: report time!

After housing up and stepping up to Quaestor, I had and continue to have a lot of things to take care of. My first order of Business is taking care of the Units within Taldryan: the Battleteams. At the moment all members have been removed from their BT’s (Besides the members in the Old Folks Home), and I will only have two Units open.

The first, is the Old Folks Home. This is a tradition that I will be keeping for our crotchety old geezers who can’t support themselves, and I am pleased to announce that OPM Benevolent Taldrya Whiner will be taking his place as OFH BTL once more. We’ll make you DA yet, Ben!

The second, which is the more noteworthy one, is the opening of Battleteam Phoenix. This battleteam will be the forefront of our Fiction side of the Clan and will house our members wonderfully. Phoenix has been a long tradition in House Ektrosis, as the Dark Fire Brigade has been for Dinaari. To best suit our current situation I am only allowing one “active Battleteam to remain open until further changes are made.

With that, I am officially opening up an application period of two weeks for Battleteam Leader of Phoenix. The Requirements are as follows:
- Rank Requirement: PRT or Higher
- Email Turnaround of 24-48 hours – It’s high, but at this stage it is needed
- Must be capable (And willing) of maintain an Activity Tracking Record (ATR) for review at the end of each month
- You must know your way around the DJB.com site as well as have a good understanding on how the DB structure/leadership structure works
I am not looking for a super human, but I am looking for someone with very strong ideas, morals and is willing to work with a strong ethic. This is not the time to play or beat around the bush. You will be entrusted with some of Taldryans most active members, and I will not give such a position away lightly. You will be expected to:
Run competitions, write and publish Bi-weekly reports to your unit, constant communication between yourself and your Aedile on the status of your BT, and of course, an IRC presence; the stronger the better.

Applications will go to myself ( sidaracerathden@yahoo.com ) as well as my Aedile Vodo Biask ( Rubelz_ftw@hotmail.com ) by Sunday night on August the 8th at 11:59 PM EST.

Moving onto another note: Fiction. There will be a lot of Fiction work to be done with the closing of Clan Taldryan, House Ektrosis and House Dinaari and the opening of House Taldryan. I cannot do this alone, however, and I know we have some eager members who want to help out with getting us on track. With that being said I would like anyone who is interested in helping out with Fiction to email myself and Vodo and let us know of what you feel you are capable of. I hope to put together a small team to work on this soon, but I would also like to know what I have to work with beforehand.

Also, I threw together some graphics for this report, and I will continue to use them… but if someone just so happens to make me some super special-sexy report graphics, I wouldn’t be opposed… =D

- RC Smash Up
- The “Write Stuff

I have not had the chance as of yet to start any competitions, but I assure you within the week you will have some good ones running for you from both myself and Vodo.

I’m going to keep this first report short and sweet as I am still finding my feet and don’t want to give out too much information on some of the fun goodies I have planned. So with that, I’m going to wish you all a fantastic end of your weekend.

I have this week off from work and am going to the Rockstar Energy Metal Mayhem Festivel (A7X ftw), and then am spending some time with no internet access at my friends beach house. It’s gonna be fun, and I’m going to love every minute of it. So I will be around tomorrow and Monday for all of your concerns and needs, but from Tuesday until Friday Vodo will be handling the House. I think he’s more than capable, don’t you?

Cheers,

The "Write" Stuff - SA Competition http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5901
When choosing a topic for your exam, make sure it isn't already chosen. For example, don't try and write an exam about Lightsabers, when we offer several exams on the subject.

Onto awards. I'll be awarding 1st level Crescents for the top three submissions. The winner (1st place) will have his/her exam hosted as an actual SA exam. Merit awards will also be given out for excellent submissions as I see fit. You have 30 days. Get all submissions in to Taigikori@gmail.com before August 25th. Good luck!

Major Wiki Changes? http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5899 Edit 2: All clans are now done. Looks about time to be updating your histories and character pages, no?

Edit: Arcona, Naga Sadow, Plagueis and Tarentum are complete and should get to work updating and editing their articles as they see fit.

Scholae Palatinae and Taldryan will be completed in (my) morning, a news post will be posted as soon as they are done.

Important note for everyone:

Don't make any major changes to the wiki as far as renaming or moving pages goes (yet). Over the next few days I will be going through everything and renaming pages and fixing redirects etc to insure every house follows the same naming conventions.

If you do see red links in categories, don't stress it means I am part way thorough that category and haven't completed the actual rename yet (it will come, be patient).

Feel like helping out, drop me a line and I will give you a quick debriefing and point you towards a mountain of work, possibly while throwing shinny Wiki Awards in your general direction.]]>
Arcona QUA Report http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5898
I’m going to try and keep this short,

As of now, applications for AED and RM are open to the entire DB.

AED Requirements:
Leadership experience, real life or DB-wise.
Email turn-around of 24 hours or less.
Strong IRC presence (preferably daily, i.e. as close to that as possible)
Application will need some form of a 30/60/90 plan. (More info below)
-Keep in mind, you’ll be doing PCON and Quaestor/Aedile work, it’ll be intense.

RM Requirements:
Leadership experience, real life or DB-wise.
Email turn-around of 24 hours or less.
Strong IRC presence (preferably daily, i.e. as close to that as possible)
Application will need some form of a 30/60/90 plan. (More info below)
-Keep in mind, you’ll be doing Quaestor/Aedile and RM work, it’ll be intense. (You’ll also be working as some form of M:CON)

As you can see both positions ask for the same, this doesn’t mean they are the same. Applications will be open for 1 week, 30th at the latest.

Due to the downsizing of the Clan to a House, I feel this is a good time to take a step back and look at who and what we are. Just as the brotherhood has drastically changed, we’ll be looking at drastic changes to the house. I sadly can’t give away anything about that, apart from that we’ll be looking at a lot more member input than we’ve seen before.
At this moment in time, not a lot is sure. What is sure is the following:
We always have been and will be the shadow clan.

This means that whatever path we choose and end up going will be dark, that’s all. The rest will be decided upon by your (the member) their input. This house isn’t mine, it is yours. In my eyes my job is to make sure you have a good time. This means that we’ll try to do whatever you want.

Anything you want to see can be looked at and tried to be worked into where we are going.
As of such I’m asking you, all of you, to send me ideas and such to me per email (c3l4h1r@gmail.com).
Arconans, I expect ideas, this is your clan, where do you want us to go, what do you want us to do?

AED/RM Information:

AED: You’ll be working with me to establish where we are heading, this in reaction to any ideas we get from our members as said before.
Next to that you will assisting me in my work as Quaestor/Consul. It’s pretty much a double position, and you can be expecting a high workload and lots of pressure combined with deadlines.

RM: You’ll be working with me to establish where we are heading, this in reaction to any ideas we get from our members as said before.
You’ll also be in charge of welcoming every single member to the house, have a look at the reboot reform document on the wiki to see what else I might expect from you.

That’s all for now, my next report will hold a lot more information about where we’re heading, that is, if you let me know what you want.

ARCONA INVICTA!!

Here to serve,

Celahir Erinos]]>
Scholae Palatinae QUA Report - 7/23/2010 http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5897
a) House Scholae Palatinae:
To those in the know, it did not come as much of a surprise. We were down to forty-seven members overall and of those forty-seven, about eight were leaders with a stack of Team leaders adding even more to the count. Muz presented us with two scenario's and this was option one. Option two consisted of abolishing the Houses but keeping the Clan status (this also dissolved Battleteams and the Rollmaster position. Personally, I like the current setting better.

If I remember correctly, we are keeping our Honourific system (so the Palpatines are still a part of us AND we get to keep our powers) and in the future we'll have the option to return to Clan status if we have the membership to back it up.

In case there are more questions on this matter, please let me know and I'll answer them privately or publicly (depending on their overall importance).

b) Teams:
As Korras informed me, we've been allotted four Battleteams. With regards to naming, I had considered the following:
Battle Team Acclivis Draco
Battle Team Caliburnus
Battle Team Dorimad Sol

And as the fourth team I would suggest: Battle Team Sidious. However, I am opening the floor for suggestions with regards to the name of our fourth team. I'll create a poll on the Forums later today containing all suggestions I've received by then so we can democratically decide on a name.

c) Job opportunities:
I'm looking for four BTL's (battleteam leaders) to run our teams.
Duties:
Battleteam leader duties
Requirements:
- Rank of Jedi Hunter
- No prior experience required (it is a bonus though)
- Email turn-about of 24 hours (i.e.: check your email at least once every day)
- Strong IRC presence
I'll accept applications until the 30th of this month (one week to apply (I need to fill these spots fast))

I'm also looking for an Aedile (AED).
Duties:
Aedile duties
Proconsul duties
Requirements:
- Minimum rank of E1 (KP/OT/SW)
- Prior experience in any post above BTL
- Email turn-about of 24 hours or less
- Strong IRC-presence (remember you'll be second in command for HSP)
I'll accept applications until the 30th of this month (one week to apply before I appoint one of the old QUA's)

I'm also looking for a Rollmaster (RM).
Duties:
Rollmaster duties
+ running our Master-Student Program (MSP)
Requirements:
- Prior experience as RM
- Email turn-about of 24 hours or less
- Strong IRC presence
- Loads of patience (you'll deal with all the new members)
I'll accept applications until the 30th of this month (one week to apply before I appoint one of the old RMs).

Now, you may have noticed that I am asking for experienced members in the RM and AED slots. Technically the AED will be a combo of PCON and AED in duties (just as how I'll be a CON and QUA in actual duties). I need experienced members in these posts simply to ensure our House runs smoothly.

For the Team leader spots: I'll probably appoint one or two experienced members for those but am leaving the option for a less experienced member to apply. If you don't get the BTL spot due to lack of rank or experience, remember that the teams have flight leader positions and can lead to the BTL recommending you to take over when they retire.

d) IMPORTANT:
Every member who was in a House and wants to be in a team, let me know ASAP and I'll get you in the one you prefer. I'm working on a "first come first served" principle here. The teams have a max limit of 9 members! Once that's full, I'll have to turn down your request and ask if you want to join another team.
Current teams for applications will be:
1) Team Acclivis Draco
2) Team Dorimad Sol
3) Team Caliburnus
4) Team TBA

e) DBWiki:
With the changes to Scholae Palatinae comes a need for a DJBwiki editing spree. Not only will house and clan history pages have to be added to and edited, but any and all pages containing the words "Clan Scholae Palatinae" in Category:Scholae Palatinae will have to be altered. The Battleteam pages will need to be altered to show their closed status. The House pages will be updated to show them as Battleteams on different planets.

Every page needs to be ironed out so that the word clan is only used historically, relating to the past, so that all of our information is up to date.

Therefore, I am giving each and every one of you an opportunity to work on the wiki for a just reward. Those who edit five wiki pages or below will receive a Dark Cross; those who edit five wiki pages or above will receive an Anteian Cross. E-mail me at my regular address if you are interested, so that I can link you to category:Scholae Palatinae and direct you on how to edit the pages I assign you. I prefer those with mechanically sound writing technique to volunteer, but anyone is welcome. You are all free to edit your own pages yourselves but I'd like to assign the Clan one's myself. I don't do this for no reason, I'm trying to keep a level of (quality) control over what's done to them.

f) Ending note:
As you see, my reports are bare text. If anyone feels up to making me banners and stuff, cool (and I'll see you're properly rewarded for it). You'll probably will also have to teach me how to use said banners though.

P.S.: Yes I pilfered the DBWiki section from Ronovi's report. I did so for two reasons: 1) He explained the stuff better then I could have done and 2) I particularly like the reward thingie

P.P.S: One hell of a first report but one hell of a new situation no?

GM Muz Ashen Report http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/reports.php?report=13843 The Chagrian bolted back, away from his bisecting blade, the lethorns that draped the side of his tattooed head wobbling as he came to an abrupt stop.

"We know why you are here, False Sith." There was no malevolence in his voice, stating the epithet as if it were just another fact. Kaek let it add to the furnace of his hate. "Therefore, you should just return home, beyond the Caldera, until He is ready for you."

Kaek relaxed his arm, letting his blood flow normally, calming his heart. "Until He is ready for me?"

The Chagrian nodded solemnly.

Kaek snapped forward, his blade searing the air at the red-skinned alien's face, the blade sizzling against flesh and bone, horn and sinew. The Chagrian howled as his hands flew up, his saber clanging to the ground with the horn that was cleft from his skull. Blood crumbled under his fingers, fresh blood breaking through the cauterization to flow deep and blue across the red tint of his tattooed hands.

Kaek didn't laugh, even though he wanted to.

"Where is He?"

---------

Vodo looked up at Korras, the emotions crawling across his face. Inevitability, sadness, understanding. Korras nodded as he turned away, a half bow before the Obelisk would leave the way he came. Vodo could not ignore the truth. The almost constant warring since the Vong arrived had taken it's toll. The agents in the core, responsible for bringing him fresh recruits for the Shadow Academy haven't been heard from since Coruscant fell. The few new recruits from the Academy were all but fodder for the Taldryan War Machine.

Once the stuff of legend, many of the elders in the Clan called for them to retire, to resign themselves to their fate and leave the Name of Taldryan on a high note. Vodo had balked, even as Arcona bested them on Antei, even when Revan surpassed them on Salas V. The Brotherhood within a Brotherhood would not fall. He remembered the oath to the Taldrya that he had made. He stood slowly, watching the doors close behind Korras as he left.

It was time to return to their roots. To recall their former glory. To rebuild. To be reborn.

It was time for Ektrosis again.

---------

Ma'ar waved Robin onward, the hand-speak loaned from the Obelisk serving the Fist well in his missions. The beasts that crawled over the half-demolished prison and laboratory on Mount Ashfire were posing a problem for them. They had recruited as many people from the clans as they could, but they only could spare so few. They needed their own people to maintain their huge empires, empires nearly unsustainable without the ponzi scheme of more recrits coming through the Academy.

Robin clucked her tongue as she reloaded the magazine, slamming it into the rifle and charging the barrel as her back felt the crate that was her cover for the moment. Maybe we needed to be less harsh on the recruits, she wondered. Every death in the halls of the academy was one less Sensitive to bolster the Brotherhood, to lead soldiers and carry a saber. She snorted the idea away, for the weakness it was.

Sith are forged in blood and death. Surviving the training is what made them powerful, tested, dangerous.

She squeezed the trigger, a fountain of gore erupting from the neck of one of the alchemically mutated...things... deep in Codei. She watched the thing slip on its own blood, thumping on the ground as its life seeped out onto the tiles.

Something had to change.

---------

It's report time

Big changes.

The AWOL Check is over, and it told us a lot of things. None of our clans had more than 60 people after the check, and Independent House Revan had only ten people less than the largest clan had after the check. We always lose a lot of people in AWOL checks, however. People miss the email, or otherwise are away from the DB for a while, and a lot do eventually come back.

So, we look at other stuff. The Database generates a report on member activity for us. It takes a look at the last year and sees how many people joined versus how many people get promoted and stick around. Traditionally, the point where a member is considered 'hooked' and will stay around is DJK. This is because it takes a serious amount of effort to get DJK, and if someone is willing to get that, they're more likely to stick around. Realistically, it shouldn't take most people longer than a year to get knighted.

Last year, when we ran this report, we had found that out of about a thousand members, we only had 7 make it to DJK. That spooked us. We added perks for the new members, putting blasters and more robes in for journeymen (like the year before when we gave armory sabers to journeymen), trying to make it more enticing for people to stick around. We tried to loosen things up a little... but in the end, it didn't work out.

Last year, out of 743 joins, only 3 people stayed on to DJK.

That tells us what we have known all along, that we're not able to get as many people as we would like to stick around with our old structures of letting the Clans train and promote our journeymen.

The good news is that we already have been planning on doing something about that: the Grind Path. Letting new members progress at their own rate for most of the journeyman ranks will help retain some of the people that we were losing by oversight or delays in grading or promotion. We have been competing with automated promotions in things like WoW for years now...and we are competing... competing for members time.

But there's more. What about the people that leave because of other members? It seems that a lot of people who would otherwise have stayed on and done well, we have lost due to drama and what not. Now, we're not naive, thinking that we will ever be able to stop everyone from leaving due to member conflicts. But we need to look at lessening the impact that they have on the health of our club.

This whole time, we have noticed that we have been getting less and less people applying for positions. Positions like Consul and DC positions, where we once would have a dozen applicants or more, we get two or three applications for. Positions like QUA and AED sometimes only get one, and we end up filling them with people who are downright toxic to the brotherhood. People that would rather lord it over on people, or would want to turn our club into another /b/ chan. That tells us that we have too many leadership positions.

About two weeks ago or so, I started talking to elders and influential members in the club, trying to brainstorm what we should do. There were a couple options, and I put those options out for feedback among the Dark Summit. The response was actually really good. We didn't have any infigting or bickering like many of the times I have seen dark summit conversations go in the past. We're all worried about the Brotherhood, and we're all looking for the solution. That's a great thing. None of us are laying down arms and giving up. We all have looked at what seems to be working for us, and are looking to discard that which is not working for us.

Yesterday, I had an impromptu meeting with four of the five consuls on IRC, where we discussed options. Overwhelmingly, the feedback was that we wanted to make the clans more flexible and still reduce the overhead of how many 'chiefs' we had. We agreed that the clans had lost enough people that they should be considered Independent Houses, and that we all would work together to strengthen the Brotherhood enough to warrant clans. This was not a decision easily made.

As opposed to the old punitive method, we are not going to be taking away clan powers or dominion or anything. We're simply reorganizing so that we don't have more leaders than we do active members. Consuls will become Quaestors and Proconsuls will become Aediles.

This is a big change for us, but one that the entire dark summit agrees must be done, and will help us move out of the past and into the future. There's a lot of opportunity here for people, and a lot of work that can be done to make a name for yourself, and all the rewards that go with that. Combined with all of the other work that the rest of the DC is doing, we are all confident that this will strengthen the Brotherhood, and make us weather the changing landscape of the internet all the better.

ROS news

The next rite of Supremacy will be titled 'Disorder' and will be starting in October. It will run three weeks to keep it short, sweet, and intense. It will be a vendetta event, not a Great Jedi War. Naturally, Seals will be awarded for participation, as well as Novae for placing in the top three of any event.

And now, a sneak peek of what is to come...

Promotions!

First up is Ronovi, who is being promoted to Equite 3. Ronovi has served Tarentum admirably, making some big changes and working to keep that clan rolling. She has a significant pile of reccomendations for you to read, so go take a look. She is a driving force within Tarentum, and has more than earned her promotion.

Next up is Korras, who has since his last promotion, been Consul and Proconsul, Quaestor and Aedile, and Master At Arms. It has been almost five years since his promotion to Dark Side adept, and while his activity has not been always been a beacon of light, it has always been constant, behind the scenes, and humble. Going back to his roots and embracing the fictional role of Master At Arms as a commander of the DC forces, the work he has done on the coming wargames has been exciting to say the least, and his turnaround and consistency as MAA has been excellent. Korras and I have been allies, friends, and partners in crime since i followed him up from battleteam leader over in the Night Hawks of HMR in CNS. Even though neither of us have been to CNS in many years now, he has still been more than willing to help with anything as it comes up. He has been a great MAA, he was a legendary Obelisk high Commander, and he is nothing short of an excellent friend. His touch as an elder has reached very far, and it is for that reason that I hereby am promoting Korras to the rank of Dark Jedi Master.

I had to make that a sneak attack, so he didn't see it coming. Anyone who wants to add their own reccomendation to Korras's promotion, and let him now how much we all love him, please email it to me. Thanks!

Finally, another member who toils behind the scenes will get their due. As an advisor who is close to me, I am sometimes too loathe to promote people for their work for fear of the cries of bias. This sometimes makes me wait longer on promoting or awarding them, even if they have earned it a few times over. Ashia Kagan Keibatsu is pretty much the worst victim of that. As my wife, she has been literally my left hand on just aboout everything that has come from my office. She proofreads everyting, puts up with my deranged ranting at three in the morning about projects that i am working on, and brings things into perspective for me. On top of that, she has served as a consul, helped to bring House Revan into play, and has helped countless new members with everything from their ACC skills to Shadow Academy exams. She is not expecting this, but after a short discussion with Korras to make sure I wasn't off my tree, he agreed, She is long overdue for the rank of Equite 4. Well done, Ashia.

Ask the GM.

Fremoc asks: Will there be more new medals?

There are a few new medals on the drawing board. One of which will be called the 'Wayfinder's Cross', which will be awarded to journeymen that make their way through the Grind Path. If you're already past that point in your DB career, don't worry, you will still be able to earn one of these puppies by testing out new Grind path stuff and running through it yourselves, when it goes live.

Kalak asks: wWill the Dark Side Compendium/Codex be updated in the near future?

Probably not. The Dark Side Compendium is one of those massive projects that the people who work on them often promise the moon, but then never deliver. The Codex is mostly already on the Wikipedia, which is easier to keep updated than the codex.

Azazel asks: With our presence on TOR, will we just be focusing on the Sith Empire, or will we have two guilds, one for the Sith and one for the Republic?

I imagine that we will have one guild, but with a backup guild for our Republic Alt 'Toons.

TL:DR *Rebuild phase: Houses. *Grind Path is being worked on *RoS: Disorder due out October, get ready *Yay Ronovi and Ashia *Korras is DJM! *New Grind Path Medal! *Codex is on the Wiki *First person who correctly guesses who Kaek is dueling in the opening fiction and sends it to me via email will win a LSS

And that's all for this time. If you have any questions, or anything I can help with, pm me on IRC or shoot me an email. Have fun!

DJM Korras Report http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/reports.php?report=13842 Report time. This will be short, but sweet.
Wargame upcoming! Currently, I'm working on some scenario's that will be released to the clans, that they will have to 'fix' using their Armed Forced and Fleet. I do not have an ETA as of yet, but this will be released before my vacation.
On Trivia: Trivia does not need to be requested as a competition. Clans can run one, and houses can run one, each week. thus, two per member. Revan is an exception: they can run two per week per house. Running one does not gain you a LoS, and only members from the specific unit can participate. However, two trivia events count as one regular competition (both running, and participating) in regards to promotion requirements.
Finally, the comments: 1) When requesting a position appointment, CC Driftan, too. He's just as capable of doing those as I am, and sometimes he is capable of doing it before I get to it. So, it's in your own interest. 2) We aim to have everything processed within 12 hours, and most is done within 6. If something is waiting for longer then 24 hours, contact us. We might have missed something. 3) I will be on vaction from the 6th of august, until the 27th of August. I'll be in Texas for that time, enjoying the summer. :) 4) Any questions? Ask them in the comments. ~Korras, Master at Arms.]]>
Tarentum QUA Report - 7/22/2010 http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/post.php?id=5895
***

Muz has officially decreed that every clan be downsized into an independent house. This decision was a long time coming, and it is a response to a lack of member retention, decrease in activity, scarcity of strong leadership, and severe cut in membership. Therefore, Clan Tarentum has now become Independent House Tarentum. I am your Quaestor and Ji is your Aedile, and Kaerner and Reinthaler are now out of the picture.

Now, one thing I really want to be sure that all of you DO NOT PANIC. Yes, this is a big change, and a sudden one. However, simply follow the list below to see many of your likely questions being answered:

1. Tarentum will maintain its dominion, titles, and powers. We will keep the Yridia system and our ability to create Rakghouls and Smoke Demons. The only difference is that we are being called a house.

2. We will have four battle teams in our house. Right now, some of you are in battle teams and others of you are not. That's fine - if you do or do not wish to be in a BT, we will adjust your position accordingly. At the moment, Korras is still working on removing Kaerner and Reinthaler, as they've been temporarily changed to BTs to accommodate the downsizing.

3. Leaders may change. Yes, this may happen - leadership may be modified. We just lost two great Quaestors and two great Aediles, and we would like to see them still work as at least advisors. As at least two of our BTs may be undergoing various fictional changes, there may be a chance for those who have lost their positions to have new ones. Also, the Rollmaster position will be opened - again, it will be dealt with accordingly.

4. Kaerner and Reinthaler will be a part of Tarentum history. They will not be forgotten. And in fact, if we possibly prove ourselves to the DC in a year or so that we can be a clan again, Kaerner and Reinthaler may be brought back into the picture.

5. The current run-on will end with us being downsized to a house by order of the Dark Council. This is an opportunity to wreak total havoc in our storyline. We've set up an excuse for us to go into all-out battle - now we have an excuse for massive destruction and war in our system. What I want now is to see the story end with the clan having a real fictional reason for being downsized - in this case, it is ravaged by a coup, it has lost several members to battle, and it is in terrible shape.

Keep that in mind when you post in the RO - and please post! The tinyurl link for it is here: http://tiny.cc/hvz8y

With the changes to Tarentum comes a need for a massive DJBwiki editing spree. Not only will house and clan history pages have to be added to and edited, but any and all pages containing the words "Clan Tarentum" in Category:Tarentum will have to be altered. Kaerner and Reinthaler need to have well written demises and be moved to Category:Tarentum Historic Articles. The battle team pages will need to be updated to show them as independent units on different planets.

E-mail me at my regular address if you are interested, so that I can link you to Category:Tarentum and direct you on how to edit the pages I assign you. I prefer those with mechanically sound writing technique to volunteer, but anyone is welcome.

I apologize for the report looking so shabby - I will e-mail updates as they come. Obviously, by the time everything is reformatted, polished up, and finalized, I can return to my official report format (and I'll need a new top header, who wants to volunteer?). In the meantime, read up on all reports on the main DB website, including Muz's report, and take a close look at your ID line. If something is wrong with it, or you want to be moved to a specific BT, please e-mail me at ronovitavisaen@gmail.com

Keep on rocking, Tarentum, whether a house or a clan.]]>
