A Galactic giant, Grimitus, better known as Grim, is a massive specimen. A thick brown, hairless mottled hide with heavy wrinkles and a cliff of a browline hides his beady black eyes. Protruding from beneath a gaping maw of pointed teeth are two bone colored tusks and while they truly make him stand out what is perhaps more noticable is his size. Towering over many species he is an ever-growing mountain of muscle with a bulging belly and an appetite for violence. Made evident by the scars on his thick arms and seemingly tree-trunk sized legs.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Grim. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Grim only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Grim to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
At a young age, Grimitus was pushed out of the nest, so to speak, and forced to fend for himself which is customary for his species. Do or die, Grim chose to survive, so he quickly adapted and developed the necessary skills needed to sustain himself in the harsh climate of Dowut. This included trapping and killing game with his bare hands and foraging until he was able to afford weaponry outside of makeshift gear. Yet this survival instinct makes him view other species’ as soft which hasn't made him many friends. Especially if they're also of the more sensitive variety. It also tends to make him more rough around the edges and unless proven otherwise will typically place little faith in others.
While Grim would like to take your word for it, he stands firm on the ‘prove it’ mentality where respect and acknowledgment is earned. This pessimistic attitude to others can make him underestimate individuals but is just part of his resilient, self sufficient lifestyle.
Trophies and the thrill of the hunt is what drives Grimitus which overtime has extended to collecting bounties. This drive for obtaining the perfect collection, while a boon to his status and reputation, can in fact lead to poor decision making as he may do things he ordinarily wouldn't do when close to finding or acquiring the prize.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Grim? Grim doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Grim, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Grim isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Grim won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Grim will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Without the gift of the Force, Grim has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Grim has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
